Cover types, in plain words
Four kinds of long-term insurance an adviser can talk to you about: what each one is, what it is not, and questions to ask an adviser. Information, not advice.
The words used on these pages are defined in the glossary.
Talk it through with an adviser
SortMyCover does not sell cover, give advice or quote premiums. It books a 30-minute call with an adviser from an FSCA-authorised financial services provider, who can talk about cover for your situation.
The call costs you nothing. Advisers pay SortMyCover a fee for the service. The fee does not depend on whether you buy anything. SortMyCover takes no commission and no share of any premium.
What happens when you book
Answer two quick questions
Your age band and a monthly budget band. Then your first name and mobile number.
Pick a time
You get your adviser’s name, practice and FSP number on WhatsApp, and choose a time that suits you.
Talk to the adviser for 30 minutes
By video, WhatsApp or phone. The adviser tells you how they are paid. You decide afterwards. The call costs you nothing.
